This policy explains how Whisk B.V. handles personal data collected through getwhisk.io. It covers the forms on this website. It does not cover data you share with us by email, phone or WhatsApp outside of this site, or the application process on our recruitment platform, which is described separately below.

What we collect, and when
We only collect personal data that you enter into one of the three forms on this website. We do not collect anything about visitors who simply read the site.
- Contact form
- First name, last name, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
- Quotation request
- Email address, phone number, and the details of the product you want quoted: product type, description or reference link, ingredients, quantities and units. You can optionally attach a file, which is sent to us as-is.
- Trend report request
- Email address, company name and the product category you are interested in.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use what you send us to answer your question, to prepare a quotation, or to send you the report you asked for. We do not use it for anything else and we do not sell it.
The legal basis is either the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries addressed to us. For the trend report, the basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every edition.
Applying for a job
The vacancies shown on our careers page come from Homerun, our recruitment platform. When you click through to apply, you leave getwhisk.io and your application is handled on Homerun. What happens to your data there is governed by that process and not by this policy. Nothing you enter on Homerun passes through this website.
How long we keep it
PLACEHOLDER — to be completed. Enquiries that do not lead to a quotation or an order are kept for a limited period and then deleted. Data connected to a quotation or an order is kept for as long as the commercial relationship runs, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit what we do with it, or to object to our use of it. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
Write to erik@getwhisk.io and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Security
The website is served over an encrypted connection. Access to the content management system and to the mailbox that receives form submissions is limited to the people who need it, and is protected by individual accounts.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we update this page and change the date at the top.
